This piece is second in an imaginative series that was born from a fantasy of swimming up to lily pad vegetation in a pond. The series was inspired by my visit to Monet’s home and water lily garden in Giverny, France.
I began the piece with liquid materials that flowed and intermingled and used pastels and ink to create form, shine and light.
This piece can be purchased individually, or as part of a diptych or triptych and is framed in a contemporary white wash frame and is ready to hang. Please contact me for more information on the series.
