On a visit to France, I had the pleasure of visiting Monet’s home in Giverny with the inspiring garden he created to inspire many magnificent paintings. While touring his home, I knew I wanted to paint an interior view looking toward his garden to capture what it might have felt like to be Monet himself looking out his own window. Claude Monet lives on through the way he still inspires the world.
This piece is enhanced by a beautiful wood frame under highest quality museum glass.
Please ask about the rest of the water lily series that his piece is the first of.
